There is nothing of substance or consequence on Planet Earth except God, his plans and intentions, his Kingdom and his Eternity. If you are messing with anything - domestic, social, secular, religious – anything whatever - that is not wholly and genuinely locked into God, and his Kingdom and his Eternity - you are missing it.
I am not going through the Genesis 1 routine – you know all that. Except that if you really did KNOW it, a lot of things would be very different to the way they are right now
If you had any idea who you really are - if you had any idea what you really are - in your world - in your country - in you – things would be so very different.
Do you really KNOW that God Almighty – Eternal Living Creator God – is actually living his life inside you? Do you KNOW that Ephesians 3:19 (Amp) says you are filled through all your being with all the fullness of God, that you have the richest measure of the Divine Presence, that you are a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself?
Do you KNOW that Galatians 2:20 says that the life you now live in this flesh is Christ who lives in you?
Do you KNOW that 1st Corinthians 6:19 tells you that your body is thetemple – the very sanctuary – of God’s Holy Spirit who lives within you. These are NOT take-it-or-leave-it theological titillations.
Bandying Bible verses around is not my thing, but sometimes we need to be reminded that there are some very powerful statements in the Bible that would make an enormous difference if we could realise these are not just Bible verses – they are the fact of the matter. Just these three statements tell you that ALL God Almighty is – is living inside all you are.
If that doesn’t give you goose bumps, you would have to be dead everywhere north of your belly button.
But there is more.
In the Genesis history - you as a human being - were designed and built to the exact same plans and specifications as Elohim - Father, and Jesus and Holy Spirit - God Almighty - is made.
If you can make “likeness and image” to mean anything else – please tell me about it.
I know you know all that – but do you really KNOW it?
SETTLE IN YOUR MIND AT THIS POINT - THAT GOD ALMIGHTY HAS MADE YOU TO BE - AND INTENDS YOU TO BE - A BEING JUST LIKE HE IS.
You know that when Jesus came, he was God in a man’s body. Yes - he was as human as you are, but at the same time, he was God in a man’s body. He chose to not sin as other men sinned – enabling him to take an action that made the rest of us to be as though we had never sinned - giving us the same status before Father God as he enjoyed.I mean - really. I mean - not only were the sins we had committed blotted out - but our capacity and inclination to sin was also blotted out. (That’s what “I am crucified with Christ” means.) From that point on - for us to commit sin had to be a knowingly, willful, deliberate rebellious act - and that is not a smart idea.
But you know all that.
What Jesus came to do had been finished - actually “completely completed” or even “perfectly perfected” - so he went back to Headquarters.
You know all that too.
You also know that before leaving, he made an arrangement that would enable his people to actually attain to that standard of person Father God had planned and designed right at the beginning. Nothing less than being of the image and likeness of God Almighty.
Well – I’m pretty sure you DON”T know that.
Jesus arranged for his people on Planet Earth to have - 1: Holy Spirit, and 2: The Church - as the combined means to produce the development required in them.
Church was intended to fulfill several functions.
First - as being His “Body of Christ” on Earth – you are the Representation of God Almighty on Earth. You and your friends are intended to be as God Himself in your neighbourhood.
Second - it was to combat and defeat the satanic forces still active on Earth. The power and authority of God Almighty in us is unstoppable and irresistible. The devil and his forces cannot stand up to us. Consider that when you are watching the news tonight.
Third - we were to disciple the nations on Earth and to bring them under the Government of God Almighty. Church is intended to bring the nations under the righteous government of God Almighty.
And Fourth - and most important - and with all the foregoing depending on it - was the process that resulted in the transformation of us ordinary normal human beings into becoming a super race of creatures who are of the image and likeness of Creator God Almighty - identical duplicates of Jesus.
That is what Church is all about.
Holy Spirit is the Living Force of God Almighty that makes it happen.
You and I being developed into attaining to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ - and being duplicates of Jesus - is the foundation that MUST be laid if we are ever going to see God’s Kingdom in operation on this Earth.
Changes ARE going to be made on Planet Earth. The righteous rule of God’s Government IS going to take over. God’s laws WILL become the regulatory procedures that cause things to happen the way they should. The substance of God’s Glory – not just the knowledge of it - IS going to cover the whole Earth as the water cover the sea. Get used to it - and get yourself ready for it. And don’t waste time going off into “end time prophecy” stuff. The practitioners of such, haven’t a clue.
When we are talking about growing into being of “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” or use my term - “duplicates of Jesus” – what exactly are we saying?
This Jesus we are duplicates of - look closely in Hebrews 1. And as you read it – keep in mind that in his first letter John says in 4.17 that – AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. What Jesus is in Heaven, we are supposed to be on Earth. I’m not making this up.
“God has spoken to us in the Person of a Son whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time. He made, produced, built, operated and arranged them in order.”
“He is the sole expression of the glory of God - the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine. He is the perfect imprint and very image of God’s nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power.”
(This next bit is exclusive to Jesus.) “When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt” - (now we can join in again) - “He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high, taking a place and rank by which He Himself became as much superior to angels as the glorious Name and title which he has inherited is different from and more excellent than theirs.”
So – what does “as he is in Heaven, so are we on Earth” mean now?
What does “in Our image and after Our likeness” mean now?
What does “being seated with Him in Heavenly places mean?
What about the “Creator” bit?
Just HOW BIG are God’s intentions for his people?
Let’s go further in Colossians 1.
“(Jesus) is the exact likeness of the unseen God - the visible representation of the invisible. He is the Firstborn of all creation. For it was in Him that all things were created, in Heaven and on Earth - things seen and things unseen - whether thrones, dominions, rulers or authorities, all things were created and exist through Him, and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist , cohere and are held together.
“He also is the Head of His body, the church, seeing He is the beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in every respect might occupy the chief place, stand first, and be pre-eminent. For it pleased the Father that all the divine fullness - the sum total of the divine perfection, powers and attributes - should dwell in Him permanently.
“And God purposed that through and by the service - the intervention of Him, the Son - all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself- whether on Earth or in Heaven, as through Him, the Father made peace by means of the blood of the cross.”
Now - the parts of these statements referring to his death and resurrection and redemptive work - can only apply to Jesus.
ALL THE REST OF IT IS BUILT INTO US. ALL OF IT.
THIS IS THE STANDARD OF BEING AND ACCOMPLISHMENT ELOHIM INTENDED WHEN HE BUILT OUR PROTOTYPE.
This is the Christ - the Jesus - to whose standards we attain. This is the measure of the stature of being we develop into.
AND I KNOW YOU DON’T BELIEVE A WORD OF IT. But this is the bedrock everything is built on – whether you believe it or not.
The ministration within the church gets us started - but we grow from there.
We move to the place where we are able to say “The LIFE I NOW LIVE in this flesh is Christ who lives in me.”
The living awareness of the reality of it is what makes the difference.
WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.
Back in the bad old days, God had to sorrowfully tell his people his thoughts and ways were so far over their head, they would NEVER be able to understand Him. But guess what - in this age - what eye had never seen, and ear had never heard, and had never even been imagined - God has revealed to US. We DO KNOW what God wants us to know.
We know Holy Spirit set up house in us a long time ago. His residential occupation of our person and being – is what brings us to life.
In Ephesians 3 – we discover that we are filled through all our being with ALL the fullness of God. We have within us the richest measure of the Divine Presence. We are a body wholly filled and flooded with all that God Almighty is.
And how about the next bit !!“Now to Him Who by, in consequenceof the action of His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do SUPER-ABUNDANTLY, FAR OVER AND ABOVE ALL THAT WE DARE ASK OR THINK, INFINITELY BEYOND OUR HIGHEST PRAYERS, DESIRES, THOUGHTS. HOPES OR DREAMS - to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever.
This is pretty awesome stuff.
Add to that, the standing invitation to come boldly into Father’s private Sanctuary any time we wish - confident, un-self-consciously, as a little child will come barging into his father’s office during a board meeting.
What God has made us to be is beyond human capacity to understand. With Him, in Him, a union of life and heart and souland mind and Spirit and will and determined intentions. With the heart of God steering and the throne of God making it happen.
The upshot of all this is, that, as we walk down the street, people watching us should not be able to tell where we leave off and where God starts. We look like God, we talk like God, we act like God, we produce like God, our attitudes and responses are like God - because it IS God - a union of Being with us - resident in us, filling and flooding every particle of our being, the life in us, the heart in us. the soul in us, the mind in us, the Spirit in us, the will in us, the fixed and determined will and purposes and intentions in us. WOW !!!
All this? How come we are so useless? What went wrong?
Look at Moses, back in the days when God was separate from and outside him - look at what that man was able to achieve over more than forty years. He could point his walking stick at the Red Sea where it was ten miles wide and create a dry crossing for two million people and all their many possessions and livestock. These and their livestock ate every day in the middle of one of the most desolate places on the planet - for forty years - and they did not get sick, or get holes in their socks.
Or Joshua who could stop the planet rotating for more than twenty three hours so he could get a job finished.
Why can’t we do things like that?
I have no real interest in stopping the world from spinning – or as in Isaiah’s case, run it backwards for forty minutes - but I do have a very real interest in seeing the Glory of God, so released, that Islam is stopped in it’s tracks, that Communism is wiped out in China and that region of Asia, that the Hindus get to realise it is God Almighty they have been really looking for among their millions of gods - that Buddhist get to know that peace and love and tranquility really flow from the heart of God - that national governments are being run by Godly and God chosen men – and at this time in the USA that is a most critical issue - that the satanic monsters who have stolen the world’s wealth release it back to the people who will use it righteously - and that the visible and tangible Glory of God covers the entire planet as the waters cover the seas.
Well - we can do that - and the time is with us right now when we had better get in some practice.
The deal right now is for every one of us to get VERY serious with God Almighty. Never mind your crazy religion games. Get real with God. Please understand that church involvement and Bible knowledge is NOT a relationship with God.God is a PERSON.
I know I have said all this already, and I’m saying it again, because it is that relationship that brings to life the one thing this article has been leading up to.
Remember - as Jesus - IS - so are we in this world -like he IS in his exalted glory right now. Like he is in those passages I quoted from Hebrews and Colossians.We are jointly seated with him in the decision making, strategy planning Council Chambers of Heaven. We in this world are the same state of being as Jesus in the Throne Room at Headquarters. We are DUPLICATES of God Almighty as he originally intended us to be.
Look - we are being got ready for Eternity. There is a massive works program that was being prepared from Eternity past, and will continue to be developed in Eternity ahead of us. We are being prepared for involvement in that. This life is our proving ground and preparation time. What is matured in us during this life is what we take into Eternity. That’s it.
Imagine if you dare - spending for ever and ever in the state of self indulgent self satisfaction you now “enjoy”. Come on. What do you imagine your dying will achieve that you couldn’t achieve by living? Dying will not change you into being a spiritual giant. What you develop here is what you are take with you.And we are talking ETERNITY.
If we could only see what God Almighty has always planned and intended for us. If only we could see the magnitude of what Jesus actually accomplished on the cross. If only we could understand what Holy Spirit is wanting so desperately to pull together. If he could just get His hand on one hundred people across the world - we would have this place on it’s ear in a week. There are already masses of angels who have been sent to Earth for the big show-down. But where are the people? We are the key to the whole thing – but where are we. We are blowing it. It is time right now to get REAL serious with God Almighty.
Let what I have been talking about - BE. Let God’s people around the world realise a crisis situation is upon us and our nations - as satan and his hideous hordes – both human and spirit - lets loose a flood of violent hatred and mayhem - with special attention being given to God’s people and historically Christian nations. This is not war games or a practice run or a bit of theological stuff you can take or leave. This is the real thing – and it’s on right now – and is at work in your nation right now. The devil has been able to assemble and arm multi millions of recruits whose purpose for living is to lay down their life for his cause. During the 1900s, around the world they murdered more than ONE HUNDRED MILLION OF GOD’S PEOPLE – for the one and only reason they were Christians or Jews. They are still at it, and now they are starting in on your country and mine.
